Lost – with and without you

When I met you

I lost the pain I was in. You somehow healed me.

I lost the regrets I had. You helped me to forgive myself.

I lost my innocence. You showed me the world.

I lost the care of what others would think. You reminded me that I’m good enough.

I lost my self loathing. You said that you loved me and that I should too.

I lost my hate for the world. You dissolved my anger.

I lost my insecurities. You saw that I’m beautiful.

But when you left me

  1. I lost a bet
    The day I found you
    I had wagered that
    Dreams never come true
    I had lost my footing
    Lost my way
    Nothing to believe in
    Nothing to say
    But you found me hiding
    And you turned the key
    Opened the door
    And set me free
